 This is my early Xmas present from my husband Peter.

We been looking for a water feature for a long time, and saw this one when shopping, and Peter brought it for me. Yes, I am so spoilt.

I also have many orchid flowers out at the moment, so I set this still-life up, for some photos. I then thought it would be suitable for the "Still Life with Motion" challenge.

The motion of the moving crystal ball, helps to give us this effect you see here in this image with the lighting.

Also there is movement in the water trickling from the three open bowls of the fountain. My flowering orchids just complete the image.

Beautiful colors, although the backdrop is perhaps a little too vibrant and competes with the foreground arrangement. The flowers lead you invitingly up to that brilliant blue ball. Will this go out into your garden or is it an indoor feature?

Wonderful colors. The smoothness of the subject goes well with the flowing water. The background looks a little like a monitor screen. It seems like I'm seeing that grid that you get if shot too close to it. Not bad but I think a cleaner version would work better.

This is a very pretty picture but I'm not sure what's moving? Is it the blue ball? The curtain? How would I know?
