 Ahh, aspens! This actually looks ridiculously amazing at a larger size. I mean: Truly. Ridiculously. Awesome. I'm considering a canvas, if I can figure out a place to hang it.

The 150KB file size limit makes me weep with sorrow since it forces the image quality down to about 50% here due to the high level of detail. Let's pull a Folger's Crystals taste test and see if the voters can detect the difference.

Well, the voters agreed with my assessment of the compression results. And Kodak apparently agreed with my assessment of its full-sized awesomeness - It was awarded the Kodak PotD for October 13, 2007. I also did order that canvas, and it's pretty cool.

Getting the exposure right when shooting up to the sky like this must be quite challenging, but you have got it right. The yellows against the blue make for a bold and attractive colour scheme, and it is pleasing to see that there isn't any fringing around the edges. It is a bit of a shame that none of the trees are truly vertical - I would have liked one to be fully perpendicular, to act as an anchor for my eyes. As it is, I find myself dizzily tilting to one side.
