 Day 20, also known as Cactus Jacks Place. Sign really caught my eye because all that's there is a big, empty lot. I have to go back for a re-shoot though - need to find a better angle because directly to the right of this shot (cropped out, obviously) is a stop sign that I don't like. And I really think the city would frown on me if I were to physically remove it so I have to find a way to shoot around it!

I like the tone and agree with you: with the sign we would expect something at that place, not emptiness. I am not sure however that the contrast between what we see and our expectations (the whole idea behind this shot) is obvious without reading your comment first.
