Hmm. Posthumous would probably be salivating over this, but I can't get into it. It's nice, but what was the thought behind focusingon the little log inside the cabin I wonder.

Same as others I wish it was a little sharper on the log building but overall I love the photo great capture :-)

Thanks! :) I wish it was a little sharper too. :P

I handheld this at 1/3 shutter speed with my 50mm 1.7 set at F4, ISO 800. Part of the problem was space. I couldn't back up any farther. I also wanted to get this with him blurred by DOF, which worked "ok".

I'm actively looking for a fast 24mm or 28mm prime now after having some time with this 50. With the crop factor the 50 is too much at times.

Love the dof. Wish you could have gotten just a little sharper focus on the lincoln log structure. Great composition and concept.
