How DID you end up with the noise in this? Underexpose and then brought up in PP, or a high ISO? Just curious. :)
Actually the thing that jumps out at me is the horizon. Looks like there was a selection made of the sky or foreground and the horizon was at the split.
The approach works great with the large expanse of sky versus the sailboats on the water. |

Noise is not a bother here. Nice composition, really gives you a sense of how small they are in relation to their environment. |

I absolutely love the use of negative space here. I don't care much for the grain, it takes away from the texture of the clouds. But this is one beautiful photo. |

I think the noise/grain (whatever you'd like to call it) works nice for this shot. Almost looks like a painting, I like the use of negative space too. |
