no, this didn't actually make it into a challenge, but it would have gone in the Silhouettes IV challenge. however, this picture was taken at about 7:30 on sept. 18 - the day the challenge ended. i ran home (i think i broke every speed limit in puyallup) got back 13 minutes before time was up, and edited like a mad woman. and i got it done. filled out the whole information page and submitted. big red letters of death stared me in the face at the top of the page: your image does not meet size requirements. i forgot to resize. 1 minute to go. as fast as i could i went back and changed the size and resubmitted. clicked the button at exactly 12:00 edt. and the page went blue. page is closed while scores are being added for a recent challenge. oh God, dear God, please let me be on time.... but no. apparently it wasn't in His plan, cuz i didn't make it. needless to say i was kinda hot, but i'll get over it. (this was only like 9 minutes ago, so yeah....)
anyway, if you read this, i would ask that you rate me anyway, 1-10, just so i know where this picture stands in the grand scheme of photography. i never expected to win or anything, but i like to get feedback so i can learn what to do different, and stuff. so if you don't mind.... thanks a lot. i really appreciate it!
