 My mom & I took our annual girls wkend trip, this year to Taughannock Falls, NY. We rented a cabin for two nights & went wine tasting during the day. We saw a sign that said "Check out the Butterfly House", so we stopped. I think it was mostly ran by college students, we went in & it was almost like it was open but closed. Nobody around to tell you where to go, or what things were, so we just wandered around.
The one room had animals loose in it (there was a girl working in there), but we got to check them out, turtles, a snake, some lizards & birds. Then we went out back to find the butterfly house & there was a little fenced in garden with tomatoes & veggies & a bunch of these reddish/yellow sunflowers.
Hopefully I didn't bore you with the story!

This works surprisingly well in black and white. You've done a wonderful job of converting, framing and exposing this. The detail is astounding. Well done!

Very unusual processing. Gives a dark mood to what is typically portrayed as a bright, cheery subject. I like it.

Absolutely love the texture in this. I feel like I can actually reach out and touch that flower. Wonderful, subtle tones.
