My poor friend (and I) decided (I dragged her) to drive up to the Adirondacks to take pictures. Me, because I'm entering a contest and her, 'cause what else is she going to do? Play SuDoku all day? Well, she did that too.
I left my house at 11:00 and got back here 12 hours later. This picture was taken overlooking the Boreas River right smack dab in the middle of the Adirondacks. Silly me, thought that Adirondack Park was a specific spot, not a region. So we drove for hours looking for a lake and ended up going in circles. In truth, there are many lakes. Just not in the spot we were looking.
But This is one of my favorite shots and I love it.

either your monitor or mine must not be calibrated. I calibrated mine this morning so it's probably yours :-)..This is a way too dark. I would have liked to see this photo with the correct levels. I will give you de benefit of doubt.
this could be a nice image but it's not really a silhouette and it is either much too compressed or toned too roughly. I see where you were maybe thinking of the tree line being a silhouette but it looks blotchy. Overall the photo just looks too processed in a sloppy manner, but otherwise it's ok.
