Hey your focus is soft the image is very dark and really no definition of the ball itself. Having a light bouncing of the glass might help distiguish the glass and make the inside electric view more crisp and impressive. The colors are a bit to saturated. The image is alright but with some work could be more impressive. You could maybe even contrast the back ground with another color like a bright green, orange, or yellow. WOrk with it.

Not a bad emulation off of the original! A really cool capture but somehow it just doesn't deliver that same visual punch the original does. You have all the same elements but somehow they are not as bold, sharp or as vibrantly visible as the original. Hmmm, it may come down to timing on getting those blue bolts eminating out of the red sphere to get their maxium thickness. They are a bit thin...mayhap making them stand out more from the black background. Playing with the color levels could help the red & blue tones pop more. Selective color and color adjustment may be one way to go. Hmmm, maybe the hard to achieve (at least for me) S-curve could make those color hues really pop. This forum thread has some good links detailing how to achieve the s-curve The S-Curve Also there seems to be a lack of sharpness in the overall image. It appears a tad soft. Mayhap did the camera focus on the outer glass of the plasma ball or did it focus on the inner ball emulating the light rays? You might want to check where the focus was for I have a feeling that this could be sharper. Overall a good emulation it just needs that little extra something to make this a stand-out above average image.

I like that you caught the red flare just like the original. Not quite a crisp as the orinal, but not a bad shot overall.

Missing the sharpness of the original here, but still a great remake.

overall a tad darker, less detailed and more "reddish" than the original, the inner ball merges with the background. Aspect ratio is quite different, liked the additional space in the original better.

Wow, amazingly close reproduction. I like the sharper focus of this one better.

I prefer the square crop of yours. Bod's has better colour though, contrast? Good job.
