 The third version of this shot from an airliner on approach to LAX ... edited to try and make it look like a model.

Compared to the previous versions, I lowered the point at which the blur begins to take effect, and lowered the radius of the blur to about one-third of the previous value. I also added some Blue tone curves to try and make the sky look less smoggy, and cropped from the top to a 3:2 aspect ratio.

-Handheld
-Gradient selection to isolate top
-Duplicated BG and applied Gaussian Blur at 11 pixel radius through gradient mask
-Blue Curve through gradient mask
-Resize for DPC
-Crop from top
-USM at 12%/48 dia/TH = 0 (enhances contrast)
-USM at 66%/0.6 dia/TH = 5 applied two times
-SaveAs JPEG at quality 10/10 = 305kb
