This was taken the same day as my Motivational Poster II entry, my Bokeh IV entry, and it's outtake. I had no idea that crocuses bloomed in the late summer/early fall - I thought they were only spring flowers.
It was mid-morning, around 9am, when I took this, and a bit of sun was shining through the forest canopy just on these 2 blossoms, making them seem to glow from within. It was magical.
