nice capture! I the negative space takes away here instead of adding something to it. Otherwise a great shot! |

I love the colors of these butterflies, so B&W wouldn't be my favorite for this. How did you get him to sit still for the picture? The butterfly I shot for Bokeh - Butterfly Breakfast was very active and not very cooperative in spreading his/her wings. Placement of the leaf behind its head is unfortunate - makes the butterfly blend into the background in that area. I have great respect for those who can shoot living, active creatures and get a good shot - which this definitely is. |

Nice detail. I had never seen these weird black and blue butterflies till I went shooting for the recent Wings challenge, and then I saw them almost exclusively. Great detail on the insect. Could consider history brush to paint the sharpening back off the ground. |
