This is wonderfully sharp and each horse has its own space. While I like it a lot, I think this would really pop with a different crop.
When I moved it around on my monitor, here's what I came up with:
First, remove the sky to just above the treetops
Then crop just to the right of the black horse.
Here you have two sharply focused, nicely grazing horses who make a nice center of interest. Then you do have the other two horses, but that composition doesn't have quite as much interest as they are sort of static, still they also make a peaceful composition.
Again, all this is just a suggestion, and doesn't take away from the pleasant scene you have recorded. |

Lori ... I really like this one ... has a nice calm, sunny summer afternoon feel to it ... horses are grazing, corn is growing ... all seem 'right' with the world ... |

A calm, peaceful scene. Well done. Not so sure about black & white here. Sepia maybe, if not color. Not *your* typically awesome dynamic horse shot, but pleasant to look at. Next time try stacking them up and see how that looks. ;-)
