I think this turned out nice! I might've done a slight USM filter on it just to give it a little more sharpness, but I think it turned out really good just the way it is too. |

excellent contrast - maybe not the best choice for B&W since the lily pads blend in so close with the water. |

Very nice contrast on the flower and the BG. The water and the lily pads are a bit flat. Overall, a good photo.

Very well focused. Imo, if you took the surface of the water just a bit darker towards black without losing the reflections the added contrast would take this over the top. |

I think you got what you were going for here. The picture is on the dark side, but not too dark, and the flower really does stand out. Even as dark as you've taken it, you can still see detail on the lily pads. |
