Just get a print out of a music sheet and place some truffle on the notes...should be easy right? WRONG!

Kinko's blew up the sheet to a 21/2 x 4 sheet and even then I had to go over it with a sharpie to get rid of pixelation. And then there was the lighting issue - needless to say I have torn a few hairs out.

Thank you Leslie for getting me the Beethoven's Fifth sheet music. Thank you to my husband for suggesting a better title. And thank you to my family for putting up with my obsession and frustration on this shoot, but then again they got to eat the chocolate when I decided enough was enough.

Great setup and idea but feel the flash mite be hurting it a bit as it seems a little harsh on the specular highlights and sharp dark shadows. Maybe an extended exposure with out the flash mite have worked a bit better, either way I like it and think it still came out looking great :)

very clever idea but the lighting doesn't seem to work very well as it is very harsh. I think a higher angle on the shot (shooting straight down onto the paper not at an angle)- so that the music is the only thing visible and lose the brown border and flower would help this image.

This would be way cooler shot from a lower but front on angle and without the flower and brown cloth around it. A very original idea :)

A very romantic image :) I like how it has an edge at two sides, and the flower is the perfect colour touch to set it all off.
