 Sort of last minute... I know it's not very good, but I wanted to submit something. :)

For editing, I cropped, adjusted contrast, levels, and selective color. Burned and dodged. Then created a black and white layer, and a color layer, for the selective desaturation. Merged layers after bringing out the color by erasing the black and white. Then I created another layer with the glausian blur filter, and erased some of that, to create the shallow DOF effect on the image.

there is something melancholy about this image - forgotten, lost, discarded - that I had to come back and look at again - the burning and dodging seems just a bit too noticable, but I really like the untold story here
