More lighting practice on a mirror. This is a ball I picked up in Ecuador. They told me it is used to create a print pattern. You can see in the top right where it looks like a characture of a bird of some type. So maybe it is a pattern ball.

I love how you used the reflection to show the hidden detail of the ball. Excellent capture. Aside from the slight shadow to the left of the reflection, I too would have thought these were two different balls. What an interesting object!

the reflection works very well here. as does the angle. could've done with a little more contrast tho.

I love the light here. THe execution here is phenomenal -- I would have never thought I was looking at a reflection (until I read your comments). Very, very nice!

Clever, simple, fun! I like the detail and clarity.

You should get the ball wet and roll it on some colored paper to see what kind of patterns you do get. Would be fun!

Very cool and the mirror effect is great. Is that an antique?

I thought it was two objects as well. Nice lighting, and I'm secure enough in my sexuality to say - hey man, nice balls.

This was executed very because I just thought it was two balls. I never would have guessed it was one with a mirror causing the reflection to appear as two. I have tried doing mirror shots and they always looked like mirror shots. I am guessing it is the perspective you have chosen and the lighting. Very well done.
