 I was thinking of Monet, nenophares and sunsets... and got a good feeling with this sunset taken in Ko Phangan.
Ajusted contrast and added spatter pencil filter, cropped. The colors might be too powerful for a true impressionist result but I'll just give it a try like this.

I like the minimalism approach here and the impressionistic feel is great. I'd prefered the object on the horizon be cloned out (I don't know if that would be legal in advance though), to keep it even more simple. I voted earlier in the week and just wanted to leave a comment. 7

Did you do that with camera shake? Or just post-processing? This looks like a Monet painting.
