Ok, this is the first time I've done this in nearly 300 challenge entries (285 currently). I posted this image in the 30 Day B&W side challenge. It had around 40 views and 10 comments. When I posted it originally I really liked it and considered if I should hold it back. BTW - I've pulled two other Free Study entries earlier...this is the third one I've submitted. Dang 30 day challenge kept giving me something else I liked. :-)
Anyway, I hope nobody holds it against me. FWIW, at least I didn't edit or change this shot in any way since the initial post. In other words, I didn't garner feedback on how to fix it, and then use it.
Guess I should quit rambling on now, eh? :P |

Prefer give more space on the foreground for strong composition. |

Wonderful. So honest and true, the love between a boy and a dog. |

Very nice shot. Not a big fan of all the border but that is a personal thing. A little fill light on the dogs face may help a little. |

Very cute picture. the dogs back being the brightest part of the photo pulls me away from the perfect moment between him and the boy. |

This is the third boy/dog photo in a row for me. I must admit I prefer yours over the others. Good composition and I like the use of black & white. Personally, I'm not crazy about the border, but that's just me. |

Makes me think of that saying on a card "Everybody needs their own Spot."
Adorable. I might dodge the doggy's face a bit. Love the sentiment. |

I wish you could have gone on eye level with these friends. I think you would have caught them more intimate. What a great moment to capture. |
