 I figured flowers would work well for this one. I really like the way it turned out. This is the first time I have ever tried zooming in during the exposure. It was also handheld with a bit of camera shake. Natural light from the window.

One of my ribbon contenders, this is a wonderful example of impressionism.

Unfortunately it was lost on voters.

Absolutely wonderful composition! I love the fact that there is some detail in the 3rds with the pink flower that captures your attention. The colors are wonderful. Great job. 9

The colors and lighting on this one are good, I think the filter/efect is a liitle much.

Vibrant colors. My feeling about impressionism, is you are able recognize the subject...it just has a lot of texture and brush strokes.

I want to love it but the white on the right is tooooooooo.... Get the 'white out'! Or at least most of it. Seems unusual to use white out like this but I can't help myself. Taking this one on as a favorite.
