Wow, been a while since I been here. I see my post processing skills were Really bad back then......anyway, the photo itself:Focus on the boat with the smoke going seemingly in the wrong direction (leading the boat). Now look perpindicular down to the water. Behind the "pulling power" boat is the 200'+ trawl thats being pulled. However, the "leading" smoke is another trawl boat directly behind the puller taking away from the perspective I was trying to convey. I just found the original and the colors are exactly correct - off the coast of Grand Isle that early morning.......
Anyway I hope to find the time to get back on here.....Thx

Exquisite, interesting colors! And bravo on the composition, I really like it... it pulls my interest to both sides of the image, which I think somehow helps tie in the colors.

I would imagine that the title is referring to the towing power of the boat, but this image I don't feel really reflects that. Or is it supposed to be that the boat is pulling the sun? Or vice versa? I don't quite understand how it fits the theme. Without the title, I would think it was just a photo of a pretty sunset. If there were a stronger connection to the sun and the boat, if there is supposed to be one, such as a different angle where it showed the boat closed to the sun, then I believe the image would be much stronger.

Colors appear distorded, probably due to over-processing.

tough exposure problem here. you did a good job controlling that. slight nitpicks- the horizon looks a little tilted, and the overall cyan hue is somewhat distracting

Looks like a fishing boat, not a tug so having a hard time putting this image together.

Nice colors and contrast. A bit soft which also seems to lessen the 'power' aspect.

Thats pretty cool.. I'd like to see the sun not so close to the edge though. Same with the boat really.
