At the lake they have these lovely large planters around all the lightposts with beautiful layers of flowers. I puposefully exposed this lighter and was delighted with the results on my viewfinder. The colors were little more vibrant than I wanted, thus the processing steps:

- added a duplicate layer in screen mode and reduced the opacity slightly. This helped soften the colors to a more pastel pallette and brightened it even more.
- to this I added another duplicate layer with a slight drybrush filter, also reducing the opacity a bit.
- cropped
- resized and sharpened using lukos action and added the border

Pretty minimal really.

I have no idea how this will do. This isn't really my thing but it was fun and I really liked the results.

This is a truly stunning image, reminiscent of a Monet masterpiece. I would be proud to have an image of this quality adorn the walls of my home. I most certainly hope that the viewers will recognize this for the masterpiece it is and reward you accordingly. A 10 from me.

Very nice colors and subject, but I think I would have lieked it better without the blown-out whites.

At first glance, there is little that is exceptional about this work except that works! It is a good composition, well lit, great post production and looks like it was painted by a classic impressionist... well done. I really like... one of the best.

Too bright- makes it hard to look at. Composition is very nice.
