My hand's shadow displaying the peace sign and my Swatch. If you look closely at the watch, its hands are also displaying the peace sign. The white background also represents peace.

Greetings from the Critique Club:
This is a clever response and a fitting one for the challenge. My initial response was that it looked more like a shadow picture of a rabbit than a peace sign but that's unimportant, really. The watch face is too dark to really see the hands and the watch overall is out of focus or soft enough enough to be distracting. There are many good suggestions below for re-shooting this so that the watch appears to go around the wrist. Your concept was original and your underlying motive to be praised, the image is an interesting one.

A great idea. Consider buying an old (broken) watchband at a secondhand store and re-shooting this, so the band could seem to disapear behind the shadow -- I think it would make it even stronger.

Good composition and a great take on the challenge. What would really make this picture really cool to me is if the watch actually looked like it was on the wrist. Meaning that it was more round. I know that would be hard but it would be cool. Like it, good job!

Maybe a flashlight on the watch face so it looks more like your arm is inside the band? Good idea.
