I don't really find this photo all that visually engaging / compelling. But I am happy that it is more technically competent than the last photo I took of this type.
to respond to JuliBoc's comment - yes, that's totally good advice! I actually knew beforehand that "boring" would not help things, but I just wasn't all that pleased with the shot, didn't think it would score highly anyway and wasn't bothered by that, and wanted to poke a bit of fun at myself.

Rule number one: never use a negative word like "boring" in your title. That will almost certainly get you a corresponding reaction from the voters. Nice focus and DOF. The white seems a little blown out.
not a great title to get me inspired...the exposure seems a little harsh, the angle seems a little too low and the subject is not remarkably interesting 4
