I didn't crop it as I was taking a series of him coming through the mud and this was the lat one as I was trying to get out of the way. I just liked it the best and thought this one showed "power" better than the others in the series. I also wish I could've used a faster speed but it was in the trees and quite shady so that's all I could really do. Thanks for all the great comments and I'm thrilled with my first time 17th pl finish!!!!

Great action shot. I like the top/tight crop and the expression on his face.

I wish the head wasn't cut off but there isn't a lot time to compose in this kind of situation.

Nice composure and realism to this photo, I am able to feel the strenght of both man and machine here.

I like this one because I feel like it does fit the theme. It's a great take on the theme. I feel it would be slightly stronger if it were taken with a faster shutterspeed to more effectivly freeze the motion, but the angle is great because it's like this great beast bursting forth.

Nice action shot. I am sure you tried it without cropping the guy's head and liked this better, but I still wonder.

Power in the rider and power in the machine but kind of a boring image to me.

Cool shot!

I like that the riders face is pin sharp - I don't like that you cut the top of his head off...

I'm hoping this was taken with a long zoom, otherwise I'm guessing you're still trying to get mud out of every nook and cranny.
