 This is my first shot at a b&w photo. It was taken near governors island, lake winnipesaukee on the water.

I rather like the wide (but not tall!) crop used here, but wonder if a little USM (or even contrast/brightness) might help with the clarity. Producing a 'good' B&W conversion is really difficult sometimes, and you've done pretty well.

Keep shooting, keep practicing... and how 'bout inviting the rest of us for a ride around the lake! lol
