I tell you the truth, I don't remember what I did to this photo. Lots of artistic filters went into this. Some dodging and burning. It's dark overall and I don't know how it will do. All I had for light was the moon, and the citronella candle.

Whew! Brown ribbon's offset ribbons!..ehh, wasn't stressing..the color might of did it, or maybe its too dark and dreary for some...but hey.

I like the picture but I've never seen an impressionistic painting in black and white :-) , therefore, I am not sure this meets the challenge. I will not score it as it may just be my opinion.
sorry but b/w does not work for me in impressionism. other than that, you captured an average scene and the play of shadows and light, just what impressionism is about, 6
The only thing I dislike about this picture is that it is dark and black and white, which is quite different than my take on impressionism which is very colorful and light.
