This is a snapshot of sorts. I was shooting macro, and decided to try a land&water scape. Done with a pre ai Nikkor 105mm lens wide open, and monopod.
I put the main leg of the monopod on the ground behind me and one of the screw in short legs on my knee. Shot at 1/8 sec with self timer @ 2 sec for stability. It was after sunset, so the diffused light thru the trees helped make the hue a bit cooler. Existing light,No filter, Straight from camera, not edited.

You know what I would do??? I'd crop it so that it's portrait orientation with just the leaves poking into the shot on the left, and eliminate the spikey plant and everything left of it altogether. There would still be the periwinkles in the foreground as a natural frame, and the blur of the waterfall behind the statuary. Just my take on it. Keep up the good work. This blur thing is pretty fun, huh??
