Challenge: Free Study 2007-08 (Expert Editing)
Camera: Canon EOS-30D
Lens: Tokina AF 12-24mm f/4.0 AT-X Pro DX
Location: Chandler, AZ
Date: Aug 26, 2007
Aperture: f/14.0
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/100s
Galleries: Action, Blur
Date Uploaded: Aug 31, 2007

30D with Tokina 12-24 f/4 tripod mounted, with the tripod down the back of my t-shirt (through the collar) and stabilized by having one leg of the 'pod in the top of my shorts and the RRS BH-40 head adjusted so the camera body rested on my shoulder/neck.

The camera was in Tv mode and I tried shutter speeds of 1/125s and 1/100s at ISO 100. I used the timer for delayed shutter release, so I could trigger it then get in position.

Took advantage of Expert Editing to do serious cloning of deep "mudprints" in the trail due to recent rains.

Wow, what lens are you using? Your arms look a mile long! Great feel of motion on this one.

Aha, I see you went all the way and had your eyeballs replaced by a camera, what a dedicated photographer :) Either that or you used some kind of helmet camera, I want one too :P

Heh - did you click the shutter with your teeth? Makes me really miss riding! I do like the POV.

Geeze, that looks like a tough shot to take. Interesting though, havn't seen many shots like that in my life. The crisp foreground combined with the motion blur makes for a neat effect.
