Handheld riding bike solo. Played around with shutter speeds and angles and went through the result finding the best after I got home. Yes, I know it barely reads 40MPH, but it's hard to take the shot when you're riding a bike and your shutter finger is on your throttle hand. Too bad I couldn't clone the speedometer needle to peg it. My 60MPH shots were too shaky. Thus the title. I'm hoping to break 5.0.

Thanks for the votes and comments! I had plans to have the camera around my neck but rest it on a pillow sitting between my legs on the gas tank and either user self-timer or my remote shutter release. I quickly found that wasn't working, so I fell (bad word for motorcycle) back to shooting live with my throttle hand. I had some great scenery pictures, but they were all too shaky. Finally, the last picture I took (as often happens) right behind my home turned out the best, so I submitted it. I tried different shutter speeds to get tree movement without bike or road blur. It was shoot from the hip and check the results when I got home, and by then I didn't have time to re-shoot.
This is my 2nd highest score, so I'm happy. :-)

I really like the feeling of speed on this one. The composition is very nice. Only suggestion maybe a different time of day. it might be nice as a night shot? still, like the setup.

I like this concept, the trees lead my eyes into the photograph. But the red truck grabs me when I get there instead of the speedo. Nicely done.
