Mark, I like this one better than your ribbon winner, but your ribbon-winning image is very nice as well. One of the things that catch my eye is the cowboys’ hand and the hand of the bystander holding on to the gate,also the way the cowboy is hanging upside-down and many more points of interest in this shot. And one more thing, I like horses more than bulls. I really like this image. Congrats on your ribbon. Hope you don't mind me commenting about that one on this shot.
Yea for us in Colorado. Quite frankly, I was very much surprised how high my score stayed in this challenge. Interesting thing is that this was an off the cuff shot to just take a break from a lot of yard work and home remodeling stuff.
When you mentioned that you see someone else was at Chatfield, you were right on. I hope the Rocky Mountain Balloon Festival becomes at least half as big as the Albuquerque one. We certainly have enough room for it and it would be just 4-7 miles away from me. I live in Roxborough, so would be no need to get hotel reservations and stuff.
