A baseball pitcher faces extreme pressure. He's all alone on the mound, expected to deliver a small ball at high speed and extreme precision to the plate 60 feet, 6 inches away. Once it arrives, a fully grown man who exercises regularly will do his best to hit it, and sometimes it'll come back at incredibly high speed right at the pitcher's head.

Handheld at 280mm for 1.5s (1.4 teleconverter at 200mm). I knew this would make a nice blurred shot. :)

I think this is another example of pushing the limits of perception. If you know baseball, you might know what this is immediately. But if you don't, you might not see it even after reading these notes.

I don't know a thing about baseball, but this looks like a painting on felt. Neat effect and great colors.

You got the effect that you expected. The high color works well for this too.

Love your title! Like the patchy effect from blur.
