 This wasn't my first choice of picture as the original was very dark and the pub was more prominent in the other two pictures I had taken but it is probably the most interesting. This was taken at 9:40 pm on Friday whilst I spent a couple of hours at the town roundabout attempting to take long exposure shots of trucks and the local pub under the working title.
The original was shot in raw format. I reduced the white balance temp, brightened and reduced shadows slightly in the picture. I also did some minor cropping of the left and bottom. However due to the lack of colour info in the original there were few worthwhile changes I could do.
It was good to learn a lot more about the exposure and focusing modes on my new camera and although I'm unlikely to win hopefully I do better than previous efforts!

The composition leaves me wondering what I'm supposed to look at, and the numerous distracting elements (lamps, signs ...) further confuse the issue.

I wish I the truck was a little bit more in focus, it is hard to tell what it is just by looking at it.
