Dont expect this will do well - but had a bit of fun doing it so I'll enter it anyway.
Set up the shot in my Living room. Shot first set up. Printed it out. Placed print in frame for submission shot. Lousy model - didn't really know what he was doing (must get a real model sometime - it is true - you get what you pay for - he came cheap)
Adjusted background to make less distrating. Curves, a little bit of dodging and burning. Not a lot of PP. Sharpened in Lab colour.
Don't really like background or framing (liked the original better but had trouble reproducing it).
Ah well - a bit of fun

Got disqualified. I thought it was because of having a photo within a photo (which I have seen in other challenges). When I queried it - I was told it was because of the background !! Ironic isn't it - I didn't like the background !!

It looks like George Carlin. I guess you took a picture, printed it, took a picture including that picture, etc, etc. That's a pretty sissy looking watering can. Very creative view of the challenge. Nitpik, it's oops, not opps, but since this isn't a spelling challenge, 8.

A more creative appoach to the literal "Filling The Frame" interpretation. (there are a few others) Still not as good as the original that won third in "Fill the Frame II", but I like this one too. Extra points for creativity and originality.

should have used the same background in every picture. i think the background from in the picture frame would have looked better then the plain background.

I don't know if you meant to have the lighting in the picture in the picture better than the portrait of you, but in either case I like this. It would have been perfect if you had nailed the expression in the final photo to match that in the photo in the photo... you know what I mean. 8
