This obviously wasn't taken recently as I can pretty much guarantee that where I am, the forecast does not call for rain anytime soon. Blur is really "glow" achieved through post-processing. It's difficult to blur much here when there ain't much to shoot anywhere indoors and outdoors you can't blur at even f/22 - it's just too durn bright.
Funny, I thought I had commented on this one earlier, but apparently I just fav'd it and didn't write anything. I love the composition of this photo and the processing is awesome. You have a knack for turning ordinary everyday events into wonderful pictures. I love this one.
Due to the high angle it looks like the one on the left has no head LOL. Nice adjustments to kick up the saturation and blur certain parts of the image. Mood well captured.
Very elegant in composition and environment - nice half-way bike reflection. The only thing that disturbs me is the apparent missing head on the leftmost person. :)
Deb, this is absolutely gorgeous! You ought to do a show of just your rain / umbrella photos. How did you process this, by the way? Did you use a gothic glow treatment? It is stunning.
