 Shot on a hot windy day in Yellowstone. The wind would clear the steam from the pools to show the vivid colors.

Much to my horror my Nikon 8800 broke on the first day of my 2 week Yellowstone/Teton trip. Used a borrowed Canon G7 and was pleased with the results on basic scenic shots.

Only adjustment was levels.

Odd juxtaposition. I'm not sure what I'm looking at. Perhaps a tidal bay of some sort? The pieces don't seem to fit naturally.

Nice shot - Like the tones - Composition is a little awkward - I think some off the bottom would make this more dramatic.
