 I took this photograph, by picking off the most distraught leaf I could find, because I knew the edges could glow and the light would reflect off of them. The background is merely the roof of my school, at the right angle and light. It made the green and red jump out, and it draws your eyes to all the right places.

Someone call a doctor! If you ever saw Disney's Sword in the Stone, This reminds me of the disease Merlin gives to the 'Mad' Madam Mim. Nice job. By the way, what does that poor tree have? Is it a fungus?

is it really diseased? thos spots are so evenly devided, don't they just belong there? I like the backlighting very much :-)

I've voted 100 images and I would say this is the best. The DOF is wide enough to get most of the leave in focus. And the composition is just great. This is simply a very beautiful shot.
