Broke an orange pepper in half, propped it up against a black background and stuck a desk lamp right behind it. Pretty simple. First I shot a bunch of the inside, macros of the seeds and such, but thought it just seemed so cliche`. Not that I don't like those kinds of shots, I thought that you, the voters, would be bored by them. So I present the outside of the pepper. I hope you like it.

Shot with 50mm 1.8, 13mm extension tube and 1.4x teleconverter. I wish it were advanced editing. I'd love to get a few spots off of the pepper.

I think that the rules allow you to remove that dust spec.

Nice image - Like the simplicity - Just a tad unsharp looking which a still life should not be.
