| I can see why they gave you the scores that they did. You weren't direct enough for them. However, this shot is fantastic. The processing is great. You really captured the essence of a fair. Great job. |

| I love the processing you did on this image. It has such a nostalgic feel. Too bad, it seems many voters didn't read the details of the challenge, and didn't accept your figurative wings. I have no suggestions for you. I love the composition (even the vast open space in the foreground), and the color and subject. The children's concentration on the balloons is charming. |

| holy cow. i cant believe how far i had to search to find this one. was sure it would've placed higher. still one of my definite favorites for the challenge. this picture has been on my mind all week. wonderful job, wish i could favorite it again! |

| Sorry, but I just don't get this. It looks like an interesting shot, there's a real story being told here. However, I don't get the 'runway' reference at all, and can't see how it ties in to this challenge. |

| I like the editing you did on this, I'm not really following the wing theme. I'm guessing this carnival is in a small airport possibly or you were referencing to the balloons. Either way I like the shot. |

| This photo has real possibilities because in the interesting setting, people, and colors. I think you would benefit from a closer crop that shows less ground and a little less of the cotton candy stand in order to make the people and their balloons more the center of the eye's focus, yet to maintain the color contrasts. |

| Great HDR feel to it. I love the colors and almost 3-d effect, but trying really hard to get the wings sense of it. |
