The width of the "30" on the desk calendar is 1/2"

Biggest Black Widow I ever saw. Came crawling out from under a customer's car as I knelt down to position the car on the lift. Who says being a mechanic isn't dangerous!

Ohmygoodness!!!!!!!!! That would scare the bejeebers out of me! That sucker is HUGE!

But the presentation here is very cool! Is he dead here? Wonder what you did with him. Eeeeeeeee.

Nope, not flat, not squashed, not dead.
I took it outside and let it go in the bushes out by the street.

Here's the hilarious part that nearly made me jump out of my skin:
After letting it go, I came back in the shop and was rolling the doors down,
and something fell on me, and MOVED!

Luckily it was only a Katydid:


(it went into the refrigerator so I could shoot it this morning)

if this were my image it would be blurry too, but b/c I snapped it while RUNNING away!! :)
