 Having flown planes, I naturally chose this as my subject for the Wings challenge.

Original capture was ever so slightly askew so I did a free rotate to level the tail with the horizon. Elminated some smudges in the sky but the sky was so drab and the grass so dried up and brown looking I decided to switch it to grayscale and added a 70% black feathered layer. This highlighted the wings and got rid of the drab areas. Overall sharpening was done at a very low pressure to accentuate detail. Levels and contrast. Cropping was done twice, second crop eliminated sky area to raise the focal point up to where it belonged.

Really like the angle this photo was taken at to give the three planes the neat alignment. Well done!

almost symmetrical, just a slight step to the right ;-)
