Location: A campsite 30 minutes out of Sterling, Alaska.
Date: Aug 11, 2007

ISO: ISO-80

 I put the camera on a longer-ish exposure and asked my sister to tap the logs in the fire with a stick to make sparks. ^_^ heheh!
Only, I wish that I could have put it on a little bit longer exposure and the picture still be dark. '-' Oh well.

I changed the gamma because whatever it is, it made the picture darker.(i don'tknow what gamma is, i just liked what it did.) And I also resized it. =)

Cool idea with the spark trails :)
Shot doesn't look too dark to me. The exposure itself looks about right. Any brighter and the bright spots of the fire might have been over exposed. You can always brighten up the shot a bit in an image editor. Shot could've used some more depth of field though, and then you could've used a longer exposure. But these trials are really neat , a longer exposure would be something fun to play with, getting the right balance of those trials and not too many of them to crowd the shot either.
