 I have been "absent" - Broke my camera. Have another on the way, but in the meantime, using a Kodak Easy Share point and shoot - itchy trigger finger. I like the color of the flowers against the clouds and sky, so I'll give it a whirl. Hope it's not too dreadful for the DPC crowd. Everything automatic.

Took this in pine country - a mountain town in Arizona. A beautiful clear sky with billowing white clouds, and I was watching the hummingbirds visit my Penstemon. This camera couldn't capture the birds, hence this picture.

An absolutely delightful floral shot, beautifully post-processed! I just cannot honestly make a rural assumption.

I like your idea, but the light from the flash makes it look unnatural to me. I do like the blue sky in the background. It provides a nice color contrast for the flowers.

Nice leaves. The flowers might have been the subject but the leaves have the focal point.
