Last night I got up to go to bed when, bam...this bright flash of lightning came, and then thunder right after it...out of nowhere. So I grabbed my camera, with my heart pounding a million miles a minute, I went out on my porch and started snapping pictures. This was the first one I got on camera, I got a few others, but I like this one the best, even though it isnt centered. After I got a few, wham, I started getting pelted with hail, so I went back inside, the lightning was so close, it was really exhilirating.

| I like this, I really do. Please don't ask me why. It just has a nice feel to it even with all the dark area which I call dead space. It works. |

| I just shot lightning last night. I took over 100 shots and only got one. It was nowhere near this good. |
