 This was taken in a forest recreation area near my home. These birds are so taime they will eat sunflower seeds right out of your hand.
For PP, I cropped, desated the yellow and green are fair amount in a few passes, then brough the tones back in the bird using the history brush. Cropped, NI, then used the history brush on the bird again to bring back the sharpness in the feathers. I then played around with shadow/highlight to get the bird to stand out from the background, dodged the bird eye and some on his feathers, burned and dodged the background, cloned out some distractions, and sharpened. Then, saved for the web.

I really like this - hope it does well.

Nice detail shot, focus is good. Bird's head is a teeny bit off focus but it works.
