I'm cheating again. I took this awhile ago, and I finally got around to processing it. This is the only time in my life I've used ISO 3200. It's got a lotta grain! I'm still making up my mind about it.

This is peering into a restaurant walking back from a session shooting waves in the dark.

I like this, I'm not sure what it reminds me of, but I think the grain works for this shot, especially with the b&w.

The grain seems to work with the B&W, but the dark edge on bottom and left look a bit like an uneven border.

I really like the scene, the atmosphere and the BW. I'm a grain-hater, so less of it would work better for me. However, wow on the ISO - that's huge!

3200 ISO! I assume this was taken with your 20D. I remember reading that it had low noise levels even at the top of the range. I'm a little surprised to see the excessive grain. Nevertheless, it's a cool photo, and I like the b&w and the glow of the lights.

It looks like the image that comes off those video monitors - the grain is a bit overwhelming.
