The foreground and background soft focus gives the focused section of the image a 3-D feel, which is a nice effect, but the composition seems relatively unexciting to me. |

This seems more like a normal shot, where the main subject is sharp and the foreground and background are blurred. It's a pretty shot, but I'm not sure how this differs from the usual way of using narrow DOF. |

The foreground and background textured blur enhances this shot greatly as does the colors and sharpness. The composition does it's job but not much more than that. Overall a very fine image. |

I love oleanders. They get so huge too. Beautiful colors. I'm such a fan of the hot red/green theme. |
