Beauty and great photographs are in the eye of the beholder. If I had a penny every time I critiqued one of my own photographs I would be a millionaire. Sometimes it's better to enjoy art for what it is and to remember the moment. Great photo!!!

I loved this one! IMHO it was better than mine by a mile! Certainly met the challenge and very interesting lighting. I could see how you'd done it and want to try it myself.

I really liked this one. IMO this should have been more high up in the finish. I love the glow in this shot. It looks very artistic.

This one doesn't look right to me. It looks more like you erased the color.

I think the idea here is excellent.. I love how you took this outdoors, too. I think though that the light was used too much around the rim, blowing out the detail of the fronds. The center of the tree has a lovely surrealness to it.

Way to go. I thought of doing this with a saguaro cactus, but did not have the time. Looks like you had a perfect, windless night for this shot.

Very nicely done! It is overexposed though and details get lost there.

good idea, I think slightly over exposed. maybe a lower intensity spotlight would help.
