I would counter that you can't get much less sharp than clouds, but you're right, it doesn't particularly break any rules with camera settings to create a soft image. It might be out there, but I see this as soft because the only sharpness that exists is from huge clouds of vapor being so far away that you can see the different levels of density in them. It was a beautiful sky today, southwest skies in the summer can be amazing. |

I donno... This is only marginally addressing the concept of the thread IMO, but it is a gorgeous cloudscape beautifully rendered. |
