I shot this picture through a window at school. I was impressed with the view of clouds framed by the wall around the window.

I really like this. If it were possible to adjust the contrast so that the dark was completely dark adn devoid of any detail, it would be very powerful, I think. (May lose some sky quality though) karmat

In thinking about the photo, ask yourself why so much space around the window? I could not come up with a reason, though the photo is good beyond that point. - mjcecil

It's a nice concept. However, i can see the edge of the window, which would've been best if it wasn't shown as it distors teh geometry in the windows. The cloud pattern also isn't the greatest (i'd prefer more interesting colors). 7 paganini

Excellent, great work Great use of neg space. (maybe could've been cropped just a tad more). As I look at this, I think, does the neg space do anything to the subject? I say YES, (I took paper and placed it over the neg space area) Without the neg space, you get just the window part and not the effect of perhaps laying on the floor in a dark room, "gazing into heaven" (although I may have called it DayDreaming-but what's the diff) The angle is great as well as the colors of the sky. Great contrast, really brings out the sky. Wonderful job. 10

Nice shot. I like how the foreground is super dark. I also like the shape of the window. 7
